I’ve been going to Salon Fish since 2010 and it’s really brilliant. I always have Sarah and it’s so nice as the staff seem very happy there so you get great continuity with the hairdresser you trust. Sarah is so good and I’m never disappointed with my haircut. Both my daughters had their prom “up dos” there and again so very pleased with the results. The staff are all very kind and pleasant people and very talented hairdressers. I no longer live in Sherborne but I’m happy to drive back from Devon because I know I wouldn’t get better elsewhere. Visiting Salon Fish is a great experience, end to end... a warm welcome, smiling staff, clean, comfortable and well maintained surroundings, slick service and lovely coffee. And then there's the hair stylists and other staff, who are soooo good their job. They listen, they ask the right questions, they remember you from before, they produce a superb cut. All in all, I love it.

Open the door and there is smiling Laura, welcoming me to Fish for my five weekly visit. Julian appears and the banter is immediate and joyful. I feel special. It’s clear the “staff” all love being part of Fish. Relaxing hair wash/massage, a cuppa and a fab hair cut by Julian. What’s not to like?

I buzzed my hair during covid and decided last year to grow it out but needed a good stylist to take it back to its pre covid pixie cut. WOW, this is the place to go. My stylist Ben is absolutely amazing. I can honestly say my hair hasnt looked this good in over 20 years. Ben is so attentive to detail and takes the time to talk to me about the style you want and what is best for your hair type. 5 star rating. Also warm friendly staff and happy and relaxed atmosphere. Its not just a trip to the hairdressers it makes for the whole haircut/style great customer experience and you come out feeling chilled and fabulous ✨️

I had such a great experience at Saloon Fish! Charlie is an absolute gem — super friendly, professional, and really talented. I got a layered haircut and I’m honestly obsessed with how it turned out. Charlie took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me exactly the kind of movement and shape I was hoping for. The whole vibe at the salon is relaxed and welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their clients.
